Flower Arrangements & Gardens of Everland Resort

One thing that you shouldn't miss when visiting Everland Resort is the beautiful gardens and gorgeous flower arrangements within the park which have been year-round fixtures since 1985 for the Rose Festival.

The Halloween Garden 

The Four Seasons Garden of Everland is decorated and arranged with beautiful flowers based on European French garden style. Surrounded by Holland-style architecture, the gardens are the stage for four different kind of seasonal flower festivals; Tulip Festivals from March to April, Rose Festival from May to June, Lilies Festival from July to August and Chrysanthemums from September to October.

So, by the time we visited Everland in September, we were being indulged with allure of colourful chrysanthemums. Besides that, it is also celebration of spooking and horror celebration of Halloween in Everland if visit around September to end of October. Therefore, no surprise to see that the garden is filled with mixtures thousand of pumpkins.

Not big fan of flower but this reminds me of my experience in Taiwan for Flora Expo. It's definitely one place deserve for a visit.

Holland Village - A place that offers more than 30 European dishes and several types of beer with an amazing and almost look alike decorated Holland style restaurant such as Restaurant Amsterdam.

Before we bid goodbye to Everland, we managed to witness Halloween Party parade for the second time. It's quite hard for us to know what time will the parade being performed cause not being stated in the pamphlet given. Guess we're lucky that not only one but two times of the parade show that we managed to enjoy before leaving this marvellous and pretty awesome amusement theme park. The first time we watched was on the ride of Skyway to another kind of theme area (click here).

All of this happens in the European Adventure theme area which I blogged before (click here for more). So, this post marked the final and last episode that I ranted about Everland Resort. Now say goodbye to Everland and let's move on to the other destinations of Seoul. Annyeonghi gaseyo!

Everland Resort - 5th Theme Area: Magic Land

Finally, this is the last theme area that we visited in Everland Resort, Magic Land. Yes, we did managed to stroll around all the five theme area of Everland Resort. Many people said that it's quite hard and insufficient time to visit all the theme area in a day but I guess my friends are and I are lucky enough on that day. Mainly because it was weekday and not many people as what we were expecting. One of tips to visit theme park is avoid going on weekends (if possible).

Magic Land is a mysterious land of magical fairy tales. Each and every architecture of the buildings look like those fairy tales in the happily-ever-after story books we used to read during our childhood time. Not only the building, even the pond, the tree are really unique and beautifully designed.

 

Just like every other theme areas, Magic Land consists of three restaurants to fulfill the empty stomach and two souvenir shops to find some cute and pretty gift for families and friends.

There are even quite number of attractions and rides at Magic Land but we didn't gave a try. Mainly because most of the attractions are only suitable for children and seems like quite childish. The other reason was because we're very tired and seems lazy to queue up for a ride after wandered around Everland Resort for more than five hours.

Too bad that the Ferris wheel that provide a spectacular view of the whole park was closed to allow for more rides. And from here, it leads us to one of the most favourite attractions and myself personally like this place - a beautiful garden with gorgeous flowers arrangement. Most of this will be revealed in my next post.

Everland Resort - 4th Theme Area: American Adventure

Continue again with the 4th theme area of Everland Resort.

• 1st Theme Area: Global Fair
• 2nd Theme Area: Zoo-Topia
• 3rd Theme Area: European Adventure

The shortcut ride of Skyway took us from European Adventure theme area to another portion of the park, the American Adventure.

The themes of this area are most basically presented based on American history. The building, the restaurant, the streets, the songs and even the ride are all in the oldies of American style.

Besides the prominent T-Express ride in the European Adventure area, here could be consider the most favourite place for those who love to challenge themselves in the thrill ride of "scream machine". There are more than 5 extreme rides which can been seen in this park area.

Let's twist and turn

 

Since we were reluctant to join for the ride of T-Express ride, finally some of us decided to join her for another ride after being persuaded by her for few times. She did also mentioned that it is quite waste if we didn't try any ride since we were here in Everland Resort.

So here we are embrace ourself to this exhilarating thrills.

See! It's up side down ride! I was screaming like hell and my friend who sat next to me keep shouting "When will this ride end?", "Please don't spin, please don't spin!". Although it was damn scary but I was laughing at the same time cause of my friend stupidly reaction. 

Double Rock Sping - A powerful spinning and rhythm ride. Loves to try this too but cause we were too tired of screaming, hence we decided to watch only.

Columbus Adventures - A dizzying viking ship. My friend said this ride is not suitable for those who has big tummy.

Everland Resort - 3rd Theme Area: European Adventure

Once we done with the Safari ride from the Zoo-Topia theme area, we reached upon another third theme area of European Adventure. At here, we got to experience all the architecture of the building imitates various of European styles. For this theme area I will blog in 2 different posts. Like I mentioned before, wanna do an absolute coverage of Everland Resort.

Creepy and spooky Halloween festivals around Everland Resort

This is one of my friend's favourite ride and she keeps asking us to join, but four of us were too scared for this ride. At the end, she went enjoyed the ride all by herself. She is too daring.

This ride is known as T-Express and it is the steepest wooden roller coaster in the world with 77 degrees. It is South Korea's first wooden coasted and has become the most highest, fastest, longest and steepest roller coaster of South Korea. Now who dare to take a ride on this T-Express? 

While waiting for my friend, Nicole to enjoy her most adrenaline rush ride, we have a soft ice-cream. Gosh! It's quite hot during the early season of autumn in Seoul.

The grand stage where the parade will be performed.

Here is the parade of Everland Resort. It is so lively, happening and vibrant celebration in the Land of Festivals! There are like 2-3 parade will be held a day and we got to watch it twice.

The one amazing thing was we watched the parade while having our ride on the Skyway, another kind of ski lift where it served as a shortcut from one theme area to another theme area.

Everland Resort - 2nd Theme Area: Zoo-Topia

Seriously, Everland Resort is not like any others normal theme park which I experienced before. It is not only just a home that offers over 40 heart-pounding of thrill rides and various adventures, Everland also includes a wild world of animals under the Zoo-Topia theme area. Like I did mentioned before in one of my previous post that "Watching Moving Creatures It's Fun Sometimes", so when a theme park combines together with an animal lifepark, it's totally another plus points for me to make a visit.

There's a "Human Sky" ride which looks alike a ski lift from Global Fair theme area where it could take us directly to the Zoo-Topia area but we decided to stroll down by ourself in order witness more different kind of animals.

Different kind of attractions can be found in Zoo-Topia. Absolutely an unforgettable trip with family.

One of the latest attractions but because we have to wait so long for the next show, therefore we skipped this.

This is Everland's mini zoo. Even though small in size, but we got to see lions, sea lions, penguins and more. But the most importantly ....

Oh my! Oh my! First time I saw a real polar bear right in front of my own eyes.

Exclusively site for monkeys with 12 kinds of apes and a total of 145 monkeys. 

Guess how many monkeys are there? 

There even has this "Animal Wonder World" where can see rare Amazon animals and also a variety of adorable animals such as...

Who say you have to go all the way to Australia to see kangaroo? I've seen kangaroo twice but now in Australia itself. The first time I saw was in United Kingdom and second time in here, Seoul.

This is one of the attractions that shouldn't miss out in Zoo-Topia theme area, where we took a ride in a bus and watch few of Safari animals roaming in a contained habitat. 

The safari bus which could accommodate up to 20 person per ride. But unfortunately for foreign tourists like us, we barely understood what the driver was trying to tell us cause he was speaking in Korean. Hence, what we can do is enjoy watching the animals.

It's amazing ride cause we got to watch so close towards all these animals especially the lions. There even give visitors a chance to feed the giraffe but might incur extra charge for that. How I wish this ride would be more exciting and adventurous if the lion jump on the top of the bus? I guess if the lion do so, all the Korean inside the bus will shout like hell. 

Who said Everland is just another fairytale theme park? It's also another Wild World of Animals!
